When the notion of Steel Dog Productions was first born, I plugged the words "steel dog" into a bunch of search engines just to see what would come up, check for conflicts, whatever. One of the things that surfaced was a site that promised me an actual steel dog. In fact, there were several, all produced by sculptor Bruce Gray. I was in love. (With the dog, I mean, although Bruce seems nice.)
The sculpture itself was a little more than I could afford, but maybe someday. In the meantime, Bruce was kind enough to cut a completely manageable deal for the use of a photo of the sculpture to produce a logo.
In addition to his adorable treatment of canines, Bruce has an impressive body of work in a variety of media not limited to sculpture and painting. You might have seen Bruce's work on HBO's Six Feet Under.
Make him happy he was nice to me and stop by www.brucegray.com, ok?
Peace,
