With New Orleans in ruins and so many people in trouble, though, it is hard not to feel the same.

Like it's time to kick some ass, to be who we say we are, and to pray like mad.

The Gist (1999-2001)

Sarah B: vox, acoustic guitar, keys

Doug Schram: bass

Scott Fishman: percussion

Cathie Van Wert was our guest violinist on this song.

This is the artwork from when we released "Red Rover" as a single, shortly before the completion of the Wild Ride cd, on which it appears. The song was written in the days following 9/11/01 and performed live only once at a benefit concert on the 18th of that month.

The artwork bugs me now because wqe're long past the time now where I see any value in candlelight vigils.

Red Rover is a war march for peace - an acknowledgment that the holy war has begun. Holy war, Batman.
